We can learn from the ever-changing natural world, that change is a good thing. The never ending cycle of seasons brings a period of rest and recovery and a period of growth and abundance. But nature never tries to hold all these things at one time. Rather she embraces the changes, she accepts the restful slow down of fall in preparation for a hibernating winter. She takes this time to conserve her energy for another day, when much will be required. And likewise we can give ourselves rest when our own nature demands it, so we have energy enough when it’s time to spring into our next project.
