Think you can send shivers down our spine? Enter our Spooky Story Contest for a chance to showcase your eerie storytelling skills! Winners will be announced on October 23rd at our Spooky story reading.
Contest Details:
- Theme: Spooky! We’re looking for spine-chilling tales, ghostly encounters, eerie happenings, or anything that will keep us up at night.
- Word Count: Stories must be between 500 and 2,000 words.
- Entry Fee: $3 per submission.
- Prizes: 1st Place – $50, Runner-up – $25
- Submission Deadline: Entries must be received by October 12th.
General Submission Guidelines:
- There is no limit on the number of submissions a writer may submit.
- Please submit as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file.
- Do not include your name in any of the attachments.
- Do not submit previously published work. Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please let us know if your piece has been accepted somewhere else.
- Current Inscape staff members may not be considered for publication.
- We do not accept pieces that invoke the name of deity as an expletive.
Any submission that does not follow these guidelines will not be considered.
