Pablo Cruz-Ayala is a Mexican-born, Utah-raised artist and immigrant advocate. They explore the impact of undocumented migration on cultural identity through urban and Chicano-inspired materials through the lens of remembrance and the power of activism through art. Holding deep respect for the cultural heritage of Utahn and Mexican ancestors, they tell the stories of love and labor throughout marginalized communities. Engaging in art and community health praxis, Pablo redefines narratives of displacement, belonging, and adaptation through storytelling and a community-focused approach.
