Gabriella Warnick graduated with her BFA from BYU in 2023 and currently works in Orem, Utah. Her practice is highly informed by her background in theatrical sound design. She frequently uses sound in her work for its haunting and ephemeral qualities while simultaneously exploring the physical objects that affect it. Since her graduating exhibition and thesis essay, “Hosts,” she has continued expanding her artistic influences and philosophies through working with sound for stage productions, writing the occasional personal essay, and seeking out unexpected and collaborative opportunities for craft.
